Cartwright married Steve Gullion 1976. The couple has two children. Angela Cartwright was born and raised in England as the older sister to actress Veronica Cartwright. The Danny Thomas Show, in which she starred as Linda Williams (1953), was a show that cast her as a charming little girl. She appeared on the show between 1957 between 1957 and 1964. Then she was cast in Julie Andrews's popular movie The Sound of Music, (1965) as Brigitta. She returned soon after to television series in the role of Penny Robinson in Lost in Space as a teen traveler in space. It ran from 1965-1968. Even with low-quality special effects and an uninteresting narrative it is very popular. Angela played a role in Make Room for Granddaddy a 70s sequel series of the original. They resided in Nevada in the 1880s near Virginia City, which was a mining boomtown. His character was the Cartwright's son who was the youngest, and whose mother Marie (in the pilot episode and then Felicia) had been widowed and whose daughter died from fever.
