Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, raised in Wellington) is an Canadian actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg, raised in Wellington and made her stage debut in the role of Flora McGrath when she played the role in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 to be the Best Actress Supporting Actress. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th July 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actress and New Zealander who, as a kid won the Academy Award in 1993 for the top supporting actress. The actress played the fierce girl who played Holly Hunter's portrayer in The Piano. Paquin had the role of lead in the film Fly Away Home in 1996 as well as a brief appearance in the film as Jane Eyre as still a toddler. Paquin played Frankie Addams, a character in Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad in 1997 her character was the queen of Spain in a lesser role. The actress played teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon (1998) and Almost Famous (2000). Also, she played the character of Polexia Aphrodisa.
