Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor, a former executive in the banking industry and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, she is half-Spanish and an English-speaking woman. The father of her is Argentine of Scottish and English descent. Her mother is of Spanish and English descent. Taylor-Joy was born into a clan of six children. Four are her siblings who were born from the same marriage as Taylor's dad. She lived with her family within Buenos Aires from the time she was six years old until the time they moved to Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy said the relocation was difficult and she refused to learn English since she was hoping to be able to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the changed schools from Northlands. Her next school was Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in shows. After 16 she left school in order to make a career out of acting. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to become an actress and her goals were realized when she was approached for an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
