Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in Australia, is an actress and model. She was first known as Pepper Steiger in Australia. Her role in the 100 episodes of soap drama Neighbors that aired between 2006 and 2007 established her as famous in Australia. The actress arrived in Hollywood by way of two different projects: first with the choral comedy Hollywood & Wine where she played an actress who was making her debut in Hollywood. Then she was offered a part as Maya an extremely seductive medical student in Scrubs in the 9th season. The show is then abruptly stopped. Within the next few years, she will be working on a Farrelly brothers' comedic Good to shoot starring Jason Sudeiki's Owen Wilson. In 2013, she landed more exposed roles including six episodes of the show detective Franklin and Bash and her first permanent role in Chosen in Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia. In the two first seasons she is also the answer for Chad Michael Murray. Following that she was in support roles for two films with air-based scenes. Aircraft 7500, One Way Back on the SyFy Channel along with other TV actors, and Le Chaos (an action film with Nicolas Cage). She's the flight attendant.
